The Decider and its Poodle debouched from discussions on Friday to divulge their diktat on the degenerate debacle in the Levant. The Decider’s vapid and vacillating vernacular was so utterly vacuous, that it devolved to its poor old Poodle to detail the dastardly do-nothing declaration. Poodle, in a pulsating pusillanimous pule, and visibly quaking with shame, duly pontificated the puerile, pompous and procumbent peace plan they had just produced.

Plumbing this dumber and dumbest duumvirate’s depths of depravity, their outstanding imbecilic announcement exposed, for all to see, how repulsive, ruthless and yet rudderless their GWOT fiasco has become. As the Zionist obliteration of Lebanon will surely yield the long sought-for pretext for the PNACian grand masterplan, the hair-trigger nukular Decider’s got his sights steadfastly set on Iran, while its short-leashed quisling wag Poodle gasped as he glimpsed his glorious Road to Damascus leading off to the brink of that unfathomable abyss beyond.

Enlightenment vs. Entitlement

When those two colossal structures representing the apogee of the human odyssey were exploded and reduced to a smouldering wreckage, the march of evolution reached an unequivocal turning point. The monumental structures that had stood sentinel at the gateway to the world’s pre-eminent civilization symbolized the sublime, consummate aspiration of the society that built them: ~that the supreme human attainment must be founded on universal rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This week, a majority of Americans thrilled to a mild, restrained roasting of their criminal, idiot president by Comedy Central comedian, Stephen Colbert. Like most of the Prog-Bloggosphere, I watched this surprisingly lame segment over the internet after it was widely ignored and blacked out by the Bush-lackey USA corporate media. Sheesh, the old www.pej.org (I’m an editor) hit-counter almost blew a gasket clicking in more than 9000 hits. If Colbert’s intention was to ridicule the Nukular Decider, then I for one, believe Colbert squandered his once-in-a-lifetime live-camera opportunity to truly speak truth to the face of power.

On April 11, Students Against War successfully flushed USA military recruiters out of a Santa Cruz University campus job fair. So when the Anne Coulteresque hyper-fanatical right-wing blogger, Michelle Malkin, decided to post the e-mail addresses and phone numbers of three members of Students Against War on her website, they were harrassed by a steady slew of really nasty and obscene messages which included death threats. In retaliation, the prog-blog One People’s Project website promptly released Michelle Malkin’s personal contact details.

Here’s the USA ambassador, David Wilkins, writing to Canadians, telling them that Americans do care about the environment. Wilkins writes that America cares so much about global warming that they spend “over $5-billion a year to address the problem of climate change, more than any other country in the world.”Well, whoop-de-doo.
